Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

April 3rd, 2016 at 13:21

Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a roller coaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are awe-inspiring. As with the popular fair ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You have to be a bettor that shall be able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of blackjack is awash with them.

If you like the mini coaster, a coaster that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not considering the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride and your head in the clouds. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will naturally remember that disastrous fall as clear as day.
