I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet

Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
