Standard Rules for Playing Blackjack

The game of Blackjack takes a lot of understanding on when to hit, when to stand, and when to double, take insurance, or break a pair into two hands. This could likely mean the difference between playing blindly and losing or participating cunningly with a technique and getting a win. There are easy rules to the game that are very easy to follow.

In Blackjack you and the dealer open with only 2 cards. Yours will be face up and the casino dealer will have only one face up and only one face down. You are allotted to hit until you are comfortable with your number or until you bust. This is also the time when you decide to double, take insurance, or part a pair. After that time it is then the casino dealer’s turn. They can hit up until they have beat you or up until they bust. You then gather your acquisitions, or not, relying on who had the ideal hand.

You can double after you receive your 1st two cards. If you decide on this, you are solely permitted one other card, and no more. The dealer, regardless, can go on to hit and strive to beat you.

You should take insurance just before the game starts if you can see that the dealer’s showing card is an Ace.
