I have enjoyed countless of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
