Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride

September 30th, 2025 at 23:25

black jack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. Blackjack is a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you slowly build up your bank roll, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom drops out.

Blackjack is so akin to a crazy ride the similarities are astonishing. As with the popular amusement park ride, your black jack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. You have to be a player that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is packed full with them.

If you like the petite coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because they are not considering the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you will not remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the sky. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will clearly recount that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
