Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride

January 31st, 2026 at 12:25

black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so very similar to a roller coaster the similarities are frightening. As with the popular fair ground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will be going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. You must be a bettor who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is packed full of them.

If you like the mini coaster, 1 that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a larger wager, then jump on for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you will not necessarily recollect how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that devastating drop as clear as day.
